Bid Solicitation for Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma


On June 14, 2021, the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma received notification that they have been awarded a grant by the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board.  This is a  subaward opportunity for tribal nations in Oklahoma in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.  The grant award is specific to Peoria tribal elders, 65 years and older, that live within the State of Oklahoma and is to assist with cooling/electric and water bills, purchase needed window air conditioning units, and purchase fans to assist in keeping our elders at a safe, cool temperature.

Peoria Tribal Cemetery Grant Funding!

On June 3, 2021, Stacy Lindsly received notification that the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma was awarded $447,262.00 by the National Park Service for the Rehabilitation and Conservation of the Peoria Tribal Cemetery.  It was one of six grants given throughout the county in recognition of the Civil Rights Movement.  This grant was submitted in January and written by Stacy Lindsly, grant writer for the Tribe and Proud Citizen.  Please see the attached Press Release for this grant.

Eldercare & Disability Reimbursement Increases to $2,500

We are proud to announce that the amount able to be reimbursed to Tribal citizens of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma has increased $1,000 for a total reimbursement amount of $2,500 per year!
