Mission

The mission of Peoria Housing Authority is to drive economic growth in our tribal community while supporting citizens and family members in a variety of programs dealing with renting, purchasing a home and even home improvement.

Services

The Peoria Housing Authority currently provides a number of programs to assist tribal citizens in and near our community. If you have interest or questions please call at 918-542-1873. The Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma Headquarters cannot accept or process these applications. Please submit all applications to the Peoria Housing Authority.

  • This program was established to provide assistance to low income eligible Peoria or Ottawa Tribal citizens and other low income eligible Native Americans. Non low income Native Americans may apply for Down Payment Assistance at a lower assistance amount. The purpose of the Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance (DPA) Grant is to provide a mechanism for those eligible Native American families to secure a loan from a reputable mortgage company for purchasing an approved property as their primary residence.

  • This program was established to provide assistance to low income eligible Peoria or other low income eligible Native Americans. The purpose of the Low Rent Program is to provide Native American families to secure safe and affordable housing in Miami, Wyandotte, Fairland, or Quapaw, Oklahoma.

  • This program was established to provide assistance to low income eligible Peoria or other low income eligible Native Americans. The purpose of the Low Rent Program is to provide Native American families to secure a safe and affordable home through Peoria Housing Authority.
  • This program was established to provide assistance to low income eligible Peoria or Ottawa Tribal citizens or other low income eligible Native Americans for housing repairs and rehabilitation that enhance habitability through basic housing repairs to assist in meeting life and safety building code compliance standards and minor renovation to adapt housing to special needs.
  • This is a one-time program established to provide assistance to low income eligible Peoria or Ottawa Tribal citizens or other low income eligible Native Americans for housing repairs and rehabilitation that enhance habitability through basic housing repairs to assist in meeting life and safety building code compliance standards and minor renovation to adapt housing to special needs.
