Peoria Housing ARPA Home Improvement Program Application

Peoria Housing Authority is taking applications for the ARPA-Housing Improvement Program.
This one-time program was established to provide assistance for eligible Peoria citizens and other eligible Native Americans for housing repairs and rehabilitation. The scope of work will be limited to rehabilitation to help with homeowner displacement. Examples of this type of work would be roof, heating & air, plumbing & hot water tanks.
These applications should be submitted to the Peoria Housing Authority. Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma Headquarters cannot accept or process these applications.

Peoria Tribal Cemetery Grant Funding!

On June 3, 2021, Stacy Lindsly received notification that the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma was awarded $447,262.00 by the National Park Service for the Rehabilitation and Conservation of the Peoria Tribal Cemetery.  It was one of six grants given throughout the county in recognition of the Civil Rights Movement.  This grant was submitted in January and written by Stacy Lindsly, grant writer for the Tribe and Proud Citizen.  Please see the attached Press Release for this grant.
