You will receive your distribution within 30 days of your application being accepted, approved, and verified. The process consists of intaking and processing your application, enrollment verification, check issuance and mail out.
How do I submit my application?
There are 3 ways to submit your application:
I don’t have my roll number, can I submit my application?
No worries. You may submit your application without your roll number; however, we encourage our citizens to submit your application for a duplicate/new Tribal ID as soon as possible. You can download this application here, or stop by the office to apply for your duplicate ID in person.
Additionally, to protect your privacy as a citizen of the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, we will not be able to give information regarding your citizenship over the phone.
Can you mail me an application and/or policy?
Application and Policy Guidelines for relief distribution were mailed out the week of October 25. If your correct address is on file, you should be receiving one soon. We will also post the application into our Quarterly Newsletter. Additionally, the application is available for download at www.peoriatribe.com/arpa.
Who is eligible for relief?
All Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma citizens, including children, who were enrolled as of September 22, 2021 are eligible to apply for and receive relief from this program.
My minor child doesn’t have an ID...
With a minor child’s application, an I.D. for the child is not necessary; however, the signing parent/guardian of that application must attach their I.D. to the child’s application.
How much will I get?
The amount each eligible citizen will receive is $3,200.
What do I do if I do not have any court-ordered proof of custody for my child?
If you do not have any kind of legal custody arrangement with your child, then you will not need to submit proof of such! Documentation is only needed for children which are currently living under a court-ordered custody or foster arrangement.
What if I do not live within a Qualified Census Tract?
This is okay. You will still be eligible for relief if you certify that yourself and/or family falls under at least 1 of the 3 Financial Need Certification categories.
