Mission

Peoria Family Connect is committed to fostering strong family connections in Indian Country. Through culturally relevant support and education, we aim to strengthen family bonds and enhance protective factors, creating a nurturing environment that prevents child abuse and neglect while promoting the well-being of our communities.

Services

Peoria Family Connect offers education and support to Childcare Professionals, helping them identify signs of risk or reduced protective factors in families. Our services are designed to strengthen family connections through a variety of resources, including:

• Parental support and education
• Small group sessions
• Cultural gatherings
• Resource sharing
• Voluntary home visitations

Home Visitations

  • What Are Home Visitations?

    Enrolled participants will receive no-cost home visits from a Home Visitation Manager weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly. The Home Visitation Manager is available to answer questions and provide parent/child education & provide resources during the visit.

  • Who Qualifies for Home Visitations?

    Home visits are available for families from pregnancy to children five years of age who reside in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

  • What Do Home Visitations Include?

    • Parent/Child activities
    • Access to community resources
    • Education about parent/child behaviors
    • Education about child development

  • Program Sign-up Incentives May Include:
