Tis the season! Every year on the second Saturday in December, the Peoria Tribe hosts a Children’s Christmas Party where it provides holiday gifts for Peoria children and elders. RSVPs are NOW OPEN for the 2025 Children’s Christmas Party.

Qualifications
Children MUST:
- Be an enrolled citizen of the Peoria Tribe, verified by copy of Peoria Tribal I.D.
- Be 0-17 years of age.
- Be present to receive their gift (no exceptions).
Elders MUST
- Be an enrolled citizen of the Peoria Tribe, verified by copy of Peoria Tribal I.D.
- Be 65 years of age or older.
- Be present to receive their gift (no exceptions).
Guidelines
- Children ages 0-12 will receive gifts of choice as it is described on the application valued up to $75 maximum.
- Screenshots or links of requested gifts are helpful to ensure the correct gift is purchased.
- If your gift choices are outside of the $75 price range, Peoria Tribe will choose gifts to reflect the $75 maximum at their discretion.
- If your gift choices are out of stock or unavailable, Peoria Tribe will choose gifts at their discretion. To best ensure availability of gift choice, shop at Walmart.com with “Pick Up” selected and “Miami, Oklahoma” set as the store location.
- Children ages 13-17 will receive a Walmart gift card valued at $75.
- Non-Peoria Children living with a Peoria family may participate in all activities at the Christmas Party, but they will not be eligible for the gifts provided by the tribe. However, Peoria Tribe is willing to wrap a gift received from the parent/guardian for children in these instances, so that they too can receive a gift from Santa.
- All gifts will be purchased from the Miami, Oklahoma Walmart or Walmart.com with no exceptions.
- Exceptions for attendance are on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Peoria Tribe.
- Age of the child will be calculated based on the date of the Christmas Party for that year. (i.e., if a child is 12 at the time of application, but turns 13 before or on the date of the party, they will receive a $75 gift card).
- Official details and information will be sent two weeks in advance of the Christmas Party using the reservation information listed on the application.
- RSVP applications are due November 15.
