TITLE VI MEAL PROGRAM

Our goal is to provide nutritious meals to elderly Native Americans who are 55 years of age and older and their spouses. We strive to fight hunger and food insecurities while also providing opportunities for socialization within our elderly Native American population.

The Title VI program was created in 1978 as part of the the Older Americans Act to promote the delivery of supportive and nutritional services for Native American elders.

All meals are served at the Adawe Community Center weekdays from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

In order to participate in this Title VI program, you must fill out an elder in-take sheet and present tribal membership or CDIB card and Driver’s License.
