Low Income Native Americans, who are members of a Federally Recognized Tribe and reside within a 75 mile radius of the Peoria Housing Authority, are eligible for the Home Rehabilitation Program.
First preference will be given to members of the Peoria Tribe and Ottawa Tribe.
Participant’s family income must be at or below 80% of the National Median Income for their family size.
Expenditures will not exceed $25,000 per unit.
This program is not open to any participant of any other program offered by the Peoria Housing Authority.
Participants must be Homeowners or presently buying the home and have current insurance on their home.
Work to be done on the homes will be limited to the existing structure of the house. An exception to this rule will be given to elderly, handicapped, and disabled persons or in the case of extreme emergency.
An information packet must be completed and returned to the Peoria Housing Authority to determine eligibility. Information packets can be picked up between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday at the Peoria Housing Authority, 3606 Sencay Ave, Miami, OK 74354.
