  MASTER'S PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP                                   

At the Business Committee Meeting held on June 1, 2010, it was discussed and approved to implement a scholarship for tribal members to attend and receive their master’s degree.  You must be enrolled into a master's program.  The amount to be funded is $3000 a semester for 4 semesters total.  The master's program application can be download on the Education page under Programs. The National Health Service Corps recruits primary care medical, dental and behavioral and mental health clinicians who are dedicated to providing care to the Nation’s underserved people.  In return, they can reduce or eliminate their health professions student debt by providing care at a National Health Service Corps-approved site.  Go to hppt://nhsc.hrsa.gov/loanrepayment/ for more information.

 

Valuing Tradition Ethnobotany Academy 2010 

Students who will be sophomores through seniors next year are eligible to participate in the Valuing Tradition Ethnobotany Academy 2010.  There is no paper application process.  Students are selected based upon a short personal interview.  Students should send contact information to JulieAnna Rohde via email at jrohde@neo.edu or call (918)256-3085 and leave a message.  Ms. Rohde will interview applicants by phone or in person.  The Academy is funded by a grant and is free to students.  For more information please go to Education under Services.
